Base Camps
Base Camps always prove to be very popular and well attended. Destinations can range from the likes of Mt Hotham, the Grampians, SA vineyards, Queensland and New Zealand; anywhere really
The camps inevitably incorpoarate a program of walking, cycling, exploring and social activities. Our Base Camps are sources of great merriment and camaraderie - many a reputation has been made on these outings.
Three days walking and exploring Mornington Peninsula on Port Phillip Bay and Westernport sides of the Peninsula.

Experience the stunning beauty of Murramarang National Park in NSW! The walk is from Pretty Beach to Maloney's Beach and is appoximatley 34 kms. This is a unique base camp and hiking experience, where you will explore the breathtaking landscape and immerse yourself in the wild natural surroundings.
NRMA Murramarang Beachfront Holiday Resort this will be our venue for our base camp located in a picturesque part of the park. Enjoy the comfort of a well organised communal camping set up, while also taking in the serenity of your surroundings.
Caravan sites, tent sites and cabins are available, as well as a bar and restaurant, spots are limited to 14-16, so be sure to submit your expression of interest soon.
Our walking program will be as follows:
Day 1 - Leave cars at Depot Beach and transfer to Pretty Beach - walk back to Depot Beach - 10kms
Day 2 - Leave cars at Durras North beach and transfer to Depot Beach - walk back to Durras North - 8kms
Day 3 - Transfer to Maloney's Beach and walk back to South Durras (NRMA Resort) - 16kms
Day 4 - Day hike or Kayak
I am still negotiating costs for the transfers, but it is looking that could be $143 per head for all three days. I shall send a note once I have the full price.
I have extended the numbers to 18, which means the price will be reduced.
