Any walk that ends in lunch is a good walk. Any walk that ends in lunch at Patsy’s is a particularly great walk.
Today was one such walk and we all thank Patsy and John for opening their home to the masses of hungry hikers.
The day started at the Community Centre in Corinella. A beautiful day with sunshine and little wind, along the shoreline out to the point, then a bit of a loop through bushland and back along the beach. A beaut shelter at the half way point that served us well for morning tea. At this point we were treated to a number of small sculptures although I’m not sure of the story surrounding them.
It’s a beautiful spot down at Corinella and if you didn’t get to join us today get it on your program. Absolutely worth the drive which for me was 1hr 45mins and so worth it. If nothing else for the chocolate slice at Patsy’s.
