Cycling the Great Southern Rail Trail from Fish Creek to Foster and return - 27kms
A 9 a.m. start, meet and greet in the brisk, clean, exhilarating, crisp , Fish Creek weather, with precipitation a maybe. All five of us set off to Foster on the rail trail of course. The view from the Hoddle lookout was super fantastic. There was a lot of debris on the trail (sticks and bark), makes riding interesting. The rain just had to get us wet, just as we arrived in Foster for coffee at the Cafe De Mer ( motel cafe), very nice and a very warm spot appreciated by us all as we dried out.
All those "polite" words above, it was very.....cold, we rode home fast. Very much appreciated Graham for organising another great morning together and how lucky are we to have such a beauitful sheltered trail to use.
