A walk with the lot. A beautiful creek – Tomahawk Creek which we walked down and along at the start of the walk and up along it at the end of the walk. Some good hills. Lovely bush scenery – a good lunch spot at Ship Rock Falls. A bit of exploring – trying to find a track after lunch with pink ribbons that I just didn’t find so some pushing through low bush and heaps of Coral Ferns towards the end of the explore. A few leeches. A bit over 1/2 an hour of exploring.
This was a combined Walk - SBWC, SGWAAC and WGBWC.
Some lovely healthy big Eucalypts & Ferns.
We beat the rain (just) and got to the Coffee Shop before it closed (just). What more can you ask for ! Walk length just over 14 kilometres.
There were a total of 10 walkers - Wes & Pam Dale, Karen Crump, Ken Mouldon, Kate Senko, Graham Talmage, Jane Sinclair, Mandy Pearson & Rob Bentvelzen and myself.
Thanks to all for your good conversations and laughs. Tim
