Approx. 12ks.....Rain overnight, a promise of a wet slippery track.
Nine of us set out with very careful footwork, with a promise of great views and adventure, Yes the views over the Latrobe Valley, industry, farmland, large power chimneys and "open cut" all part of the commanding views.
Morning "munchies" enjoyed by us all, then onward to find the "mystery" cave, Ahhh but which track is it really on? A little debate and checking maps on phones, Ken & Frithjof had it sorted, and yes we found the cave, truly amazing and mystic.
Time for lunch in an ideal bush spot, then to find the "magic" pink tape markers, along a spur, then straight down the hill to join the Wirilda Track and back to cars. A true adventure for the day, many thanks to Pat for leading, and all the "helpers" keeping us all on track. Roz S.
