Kerry Baggallay is our leader for today. This walk takes in the Meeniyan Bi-Centenial walk , sections of the rail trail, several back lanes and views from the hill above the town.Most of this walk would not be obvious to the average visitorso a little local knowledge brings out the highlights.

Please wear appropiate clothing for the conditions, carry water, a light snack and wear sun protection. Poles optional as there is some climbing. Lunch is at the Meeniyan Store.

The walk  starts and ends in the car park behind IGA. There are toilets behind the town hall and at the recreation ground
