Find the Forgotten Waterfalls! Albert River Catchment - Tuesday, 30 August 2022
We bush-bash in the Albert River Catchment in order to demonstrate that Google does not know everything . . . .

Olinda Valley - Sunday, 21 August 2022
It was a fresh morning and an early start to head to the Dandenongs to explore the Olinda Valley. Eight of us meandered through the valley taking in the Golf Course, Rifle Range, KC, George's, Barges Tracks and Simmons Way.
We went up and down dales and zig zagged down hills, and in the end Katie and Michele advised that there were "not enough hills". Haha!!! Next time ladies, next time...... There was a bit of mud and Michele graced it!
We welcomed a new couple to the club, Bev Waldron and Rod Head. As always, great friendships are formed on a hike. We had lots of laughs and great camaraderie. We finished the afternoon with a gorgeous afternoon tea in Olinda. It was very busy due to a football final.

Sandy Point and Shallow Inlet Loop - combined walk with West Gippsland and Strzelecki Bushwalking Clubs - Saturday, 27 August 2022
Approximately 27 of us met at the Sandy Point public toilets at 10.00am. A big crowd looking forward to a wonderful walk on a beautiful day. What a wonderful scene.
After a short stroll through Sandy Point we finally headed to the beach - oh wow! it did not disappoint. We wandered along and had morning tea at the entrance to Horse Track. We had wonderful views of Wilson's Prom to the left and Cape Liptrap to the right. If you squinted, you could see the Lime Kilns in Walkerville!
After morning tea we criss-crossed through a tea-tree forest to Shallow Inlet. We had lunch at the assigned picnic spot - very civilised, picnic tables and public toilets.
After lunch we headed via Shallow Inlet and a forest back to the beach - and as Tim, our fearless leader said, we walked in circles.
All in all 10kms in magnificent sunshine and company.
We finished off the day at The Meenyan Store for afternoon tea. Thank you Tim for a fabulous day.
