Welcome back to all members to our Tuesday walks. Our first walk of the year is approximately 9+ kms, rated as EASY.  The walk commenced from the Yanakie Caravan Park at the foreshore of Corner Inlet. Twenty four (24) participants headed in the direction of Duck Point through native coastal bushland, and then onto Red Bluff beach. The walk had some spectacular views across the bay where we saw lots of seabirds and abundance of black swans. We enjoyed a wonderful morning tea of scones, jam and cream. This was provided by a possible new member; Julie well done. From that point on the adventure began with a small circuit moving along the shore wedged in between thick mangroves and bushland, then upwards on a steep set of stairs and along the ridge on a rough track. With the weather warming up we returned to the beach and headed back to Duck Point. Looking across the still waters and the low tide you could see the wind turbines at Toora and Port Welshpool. Our walk concluded as we returned the way we came to the Caravan Park.
