We met at 9am at the Traralgon Netball Courts in Breed St.
Toilets and parking available so a very convenient spot.
PART 1 We set off along the path that runs beside Traralgon Creek. A loop walk back to Agnes Brereton Park. A short history lesson on the early white settlers with a stop at the 100 year old oak tree and the original Campbell homestead that has been lovingly restored.
We followed the path through Victory Park and onto our morning tea stop at 4 On Booth. A delicious Devonshire tea enjoyed by all.
After morning tea we venture along the creek path once more and return to our cars.
Total distance Approx 7 km.
PART 2. We then drove our cars to Traralgon Railway Reserve Hickox St, Traralgon (about 1.5km) where we walked the reserve and
admired the lake and bushland. The ever popular Kick horse canyon never disappoints.
We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the shelter beside the lake accompanied by a zillion ducks and water foul.
A great morning, enjoying discovering Traralgon. The added bonus of Kathmandu vouchers making for a good day out.
