There was a meet and greet in Yinnar, then a car pool to Vaggs Road, to a very dry but pristine bushland, obviously frequented by motorbikes. We had many trees to step or climb over and Wayne generously provided a towel to sit on whilst climbing over the big trees. Thanks to Wayne for the thought.
Pat needed to escort Joy back to Yinnar because she was unwell, so we just followed Wayne instead, this bushland is his "playground". Morning tea was at an old quarry site, full of local history, from Wayne of course. Now the bushland has become very valuable to the local community for its untouched beauty.
We rejoined Pat for lunch, then enjoyed a casual walk back to the cars and into Yinnar for Pats provided bush cafe. Thanks heaps to Pat & Wayne for a great day out.
