On the water by 8,30, "omg" picture perfect, low tide rising, we paddled and chatted, of course, soaking up the silence and ambience of our fantastic surrounds.
Shane was able to point out his family farm, where he, like myself, spent hours swimming in the River, how lucky we were to have this great river as our playground.
We took time out on the bank of the Fish Creek drain, then returned on a full to falling tide. We enjoyed lunch together at the long table, a perfect end to another great day out.
