Cool overcast day.
On the water a motley crew.
With Kayaks large and small,
White, red, and blue
Also an inflatable in bright green.
Relaxed paddling upstream.
Rapids, there’s only a couple of rocks to be seen.
Water is flowing fast,
Easy trip home.
Ideal spot to consume our lunch.
Resist temptation to paddle again, “load up for home” is the refrain.
