Eight of us met nice and early in Fish Creek for a car pool to Whiskey Bay at Wilson's Prom. The weather promised to be a corker and we were all excited to enjoy a dry and warm day out.
The walk commenced at Whiskey Bay, continued through to Picnic Bay, Squeaky Beach, Pillar Point to Tidal River. It was a lovely stroll, but needed to be hastened at the thought of a coffee. We were held up at Pillar Point, as a young dad had dropped his phone, which slid under a rock. Even the lend of some poles did not help, however, in the end the young dad lifted the rock, his wife put in a branch, and hey presto they rescued the phone..... relief for the family.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch break at the Tidal River cafe sitting in the sunshine - yes sunshine....
We commenced our return walk via the Tidal River Lookout walk and it didn't take long to walk off our lunch and Latte's. There is a very steep hill. We were rewarded with stunning views. The area had a controlled burn a few months ago, and the colour contrasts were beautiful. We saw a Wallaby and a Wombat.

Before we knew it, we were back at our cars via the beaches. The spring flowers have started to make an appearance, and we were delighted with the sound of birds.....
Again, the Prom did not disappoint - our little bit of paradise in Victoria.
Thanks everyone who came on this lovely walk.
