Our Saturday morning cycling group met at the Pony Club car park in Wonthaggi and set off for Kilcunda at 9am.
The day was overcast with a temperature of about 18c and a light westerly wind, just right for cycling.
The trail was dry and we all had an enjoyable cruise to Kilcunda. Of course, we all indulged in the obligatory coffee at the Kilcunda Store.
On the return trip we took a detour past the Powlett Caravan Park and the Desalination Plant.
We covered 24k of easy riding and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
