Windmills to the mouth of the Powlett River

Meet at: Williamson's Beach Car Park which is at the end of the Lower Powlett road.
(the same road that leads to the Wonthaggi Desalination Plant)

Please note that the date for this trip is selected so we can walk at low tide on firmer sand. 

I plan to take a lunch break on the walk, so be prepared. 

From the car park, we will follow a track towards the wind turbines. After a couple of km there is a track to the beach. Once on the beach we will walk north west to the mouth of the Powlett river. We will take our lunch break here. We will return to the cars via a track.
