Departing from the River Bank opposite the Powlett River Caravan Park, we travel upstream, through coastal farmland, observing various degrees of revegetation projects, the old ford crossing (if low tide) up to the rail trail bridge and return. Lunch back at start. Option of a short paddle down to the mouth of the Powlett conditions permitting after lunch.

Bring: Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water to drink, lunch.
