Nicholson Base Camp: Paddle, Bike, Walk Jan 2024
A Beautiful setting in idyllic Nicholson, an old shearing shed to boil water, portable conveniences and a nearby river - what more could you want?
Arriving Friday 19th. this is a combined event with Strzlecki club, staying on the farm in a beautiful setting at Robyn & Dale Scott,s property, 65 Waddells Road, Nicholson, (Close to the Rail trail).
An old shearing shed provides a place to boil a kettle, no power is available to campsites, BYO all food and water, unless you choose to drive 10mins. into town for a pub meals?
Accomodation: Campers, caravans, tents
All participants will be asked to contribute to the cost of toilet hire.
Paddling Saturday will possibly be the Nicholson River, access is via their paddock, or the Tambo River Sunday.
Equipment: Water, lunch, snacks, basic first aid, & usual requirements for paddle safety,
