Tidal Overlook circuit trail via Lilly Pilly

We will travel from Fish Creek to Wilson's Promontary for today's walk. Please meet David at Fish Creek, in the laneway behind the BP Service station, by 8:50am. We will then arrange car pooling to Wilsons Promontary leaving Fish Creek 9:00am sharp.

Car Parking is in the main car park opposite Parks Victoria. Arrival time is anticipated to be approx. 9:45am. 

The walk will begin from the car park, then across the Tidal River footbridge. This is a 10km walk and is considered to be rated medium. There are a couple of moderate climbs and a couple of steep declines. Quite apart from these small challenges the walk should be quite managable. Not withstanding, as with many of the walks on the Prom, there are some fabulous views along the way. Hi-lights of the walk include the wonderful local flora and fauna, Pillar Point, Coastal views and Islands, and Lilly Pilly Circuit.

Please Note: a reasonable fitness level will see you safely to the end. 

It is advisable to bring walking poles. The tracks are in good condition, however poles may come in handy in a couple of the places mentioned above. 

Bring plenty of snacks and water. Be prepared for the prevailing winter conditions at this time of the year. 

Toilets are available at the beginning and at the end of the walk, and there are toilets at Lilly Pilly.

At the completion of the walk lunch can be had at the Prom.
