Graham Clements will be your walk leader in place of Val McDonald today. Please meet Graham  ready to begin the walk by 9:00am. This will be a MYSTERY walk and may include some of the area surrounding the Desal plant, and mixture of bush and scrub, and beach walking. 

From the western end of Wonthaggi, opposite the Toyota dealership, take the Lower Powlett River Rd to the Wonthaggi Desalination plant. On the approach to the Desal plant take the small sealed road to the right. Before reaching the Plant, there is available parking on the left close to a public pavillion and toilets. Do not park at the Desalination plant reserved for Contractors and Employees. 

Toilets facilities are located at the meeting point.

Be prepared for wintery weather. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Wet weather protection may be required as a precaution.

Bring snacks and plenty of water for a morning break.
