Warneet Coastal Trail

Today's walk is a new walk for the club. We will travel to Warneet just a few minutes from Tooradin. Please meet Maree at the Blind Bight boat ramp car park left off Anchorage Drive. Be ready to walk by 9:30am

To arrive at Warneet drive through Tooradin, then take the Baxter Tooradin Road. Travel a further few hundred metres, turn left onto the Warneet Road. Car travel time is approx 50 min from Korumburra.

The Warneet Coastal trail is situated in the quiet and beautiful environs of the northern aspect of Western Port Bay. From here you will note the close proximity of the northern shores of French Island.

The walk is an easy walk of approximately 10kms on mostly flat trails. We willl walk on a combination of bush tracks and footpaths with views of mangroves and the Warneet and Blind Bight Inlets.

Toilet facilities can be accessed enroute.

Bring snacks and water. Wear appropriate protective clothing attire and hat, for the prevailing weather conditions, and sunscreen

After the walk you may have lunch at Blind Bight boat ramp (BYO) or return to a cafe at Tooradin.
