Mt Bishop and Lilly Pilly
Meet at Fish Creek to carpool at 9am.
Bev Piper will meet the group at 9am in Fish Creek behind the service station to carpool. The walk will start from the Lilly Pilly car park. This is a circuit walk of 10.km approx.
The track is well formed and is a gentle climb to the turnoff for Mt. Bishop.
The path leading to the Mt. Bishop summit is narrower and has rocks and tree roots that require careful walking. Just prior to the summit there is a large smooth rocky area that is perfect to sit on, enjoy morning tea and look out to Mt. Oberon, Tidal River and savour the glorious Prom views.
Please carry water, snacks and bring lunch. Check the forecast and wear clothing suitable for the winter weather. Walking poles are recommended.
Toilets are available at Fish Creek and at Mt. Bishop/Lilly Pilly car park.
