Meet Joy in the car park opposite the Shire Hall on Ridgeway by 8:30am ready for car pooling to begin the walk just off the Strzlecke Hwy. The location of the walk begins at the Water Pumping Station (WPS), The WPS is on the opposite side of the road a few hundred metres beyond the access point to the Lyrebird Walk.

This walk is a great example of protected forest bushland bordering Mirboo North and provides an opportunity to explore a natural forested area with a range of plant genus and species. These  include a variety of smaller plants in the understory. Be prepared for moderate inclines and declines.

Note: Summer protocols will be in place to minimise the effects of summer heat.

Please bring plenty of water, sun screen, wear hats and appropriate attire for this walk, and walking poles as necessary

Toilets are available at the car park opposite the Shire Hall. No toilets enroute.

At the walks completion, we will return by cars back into Mirboo North for coffee.
