Wendy Page will lead us on a coastal ramble heading west along the Inverloch shore from Ozone St to the Caves. We’ll stop off at the RACV for scones, jam and cream on our way back. Low tide will be at 8:47am and high tide at 3:13pm so we should have plenty of time to complete our walk.
Meet at the intersection of Ozone St with Surf Parade ready to depart by 9:00am. There is car parking all along Surf Parade.
Most of the walk will be along the beach. Please note: We won’t be walking on formed tracks. Be prepared for sections of soft sand, firm sand and some slippery rock sections with a bit of rock scrambling, especially near the Caves. We’ll have a brief snack/water stop near the Caves, weather permitting, and anyone who is keen can continue along the rock platform to the cave openings. On our return journey we will retrace our steps back along the beach, diverting up to the RACV and back for morning tea and then head slightly inland along an easy track through a coastal reserve back to the cars.

Bring poles if you use them…also wet weather gear and sturdy boots.
BYO snacks and water.

Morning tea with a view is available at the RACV. Lunch after the walk is also available at the RACV if desired or at any of the cafes in the town.
