We are traveling to Foster today. Please meet Michelle Carr by 9:00am ready to start our walk. 

To arrive at the walk - heading south from Foster take the Foster-Wilsons Promontory Rd. Dyrings Rd is just a few hundred  meters south of the Foster - Fish Creek Rd. A car parking area is located on your left as you turn left into Dyrings Rd.

We will initially start our walk along the GSRT from Dyrings Rd. Michelle will be leading club members through the beautiful bush tracks of Foster in the heart of South Gippsland. Experience the smell of fresh Eucalyptus as we navigate single file bush tracks seemingly far away from townships. 

Foster has a cool, damp environment through the winter months. You should be prepared with appropriate clothing, footwear and rain "gear". If the weather is damp, prepare for a couple of slippery slopes! BRING YOUR WALKING POLES if you use them. It may be useful to bring a change of footwear to change into at the finish if you wish. 

Bring snacks and water for a morning break. Lunch and or coffee can be had in Foster township.

TOILETS: No toilets enroute. Consideration of these needs should be made prior to meeting at the starting point at Dyrings Rd. Toilets may be located in Foster at the Football ground and the Park.
