GLENELG   RIVER PADDLE - MOLESIDE   TO   NELSON 

Monday  March 3rd  to Saturday March 8th 2025

• Four  Days camping/Paddling on the River 

• Approx.  15 ks per day, all food and camping equip. to be carried in kayaks

• Participants will be required to book campsites via Parks Vic. Website, or ph. 131963,   and also campsite Friday night 7th, at River Vu C.Park,  0439384158, 31 Kellett St. Nelson, for  tea on  final Friday night, at the Nelson Pub.  Drive home on Sat.

This spectacular River combines all the natural features of stunning cliffs, natural bushland, abundant birdlife, flat quiet water and great campsites.   All food and water is to be carried for full four days, plus tent and camping equip.  Campsites have long drop toilets, no power supply.

Day 1 - 3rd March,  Drive to Moleside camp ground,Winnap/Nelson Road,  (Google maps, or ring Roz for directions)

Day 2 - 4th March,  Return cars to Nelson. To be parked at River Vu C.Park,( cost TBC,? ) Shuttle service back to kayaks (cost involved TBC?). Paddle 14ks to Skipworth Landing.

Day 3 -  5th March, Paddle to Dowds.

Day 4 -  6th March, Paddle to Dry Creek,   Free camp

Day 5 - 7th  March, Paddle to Nelson.   Finish,  Camp at River Vu C. Park,  Tea at Nelson Pub.

Day 6 - 8th March,    Drive Home
