Have A Go At Paddling
Have a go at Paddling at Cowwarr Weir, a paddling experience provided as part of Gippy Girls Can an initiative of Gippsland Regional Health. All welcome (not just the ladies).
We will provide all equipment - boat, life jacket and paddle and experienced paddle mentors to guide you.
WHEN: Saturday 5th September - subject to weather
WHERE: Cowwarr Weir, Weir Road, Cowwarr - meet on the banks adjacent to the public amenities.
TIME: From 10:00am - you will be allocated to a session upon booking
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: Loose comfortable clothing, foot wear compulsory (old runners, wetsuit boots etc), sun protection, spray jacket if you have one, drinks and snacks. Please bring a towel and a change of clothes (just in case). We do not plan on you getting wet/falling in but better to be prepared.
