A Taste of East Gippsland 5th to 13th Dec - Paddling
A series of paddles at venues in East Gippsland (environmental conditions permitting) including Corringal Slips, Wingan Inlet and Mallacoota. Come for all, or part of the week.
This is a self catering event - bring all food/drink and equipment requirements including accommodation.
Please book your own accommodation or arrange a shared site/accommodation with a fellow participant.
Friday 5th December travel to Corringal Slips (3.5 hrs from Mirboo North) staying at Parks Victoria Campsite (2 nights). Remainder of day spent exploring the local area, relaxing or fishing.
Saturday 6th - paddle on the Snowy exploring Corringal Lake
Sunday 7th - travel to Mallacoota (3 hrs) staying at Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park, afternoon paddle on the bottom lake weather conditions permitting; alternatively relax, fish, swim, explore.
Monday 8th - Wed 10th - a series of paddles in the local area TBA - top lake/Gypsy Point ?????
Thursday 11th - travel to Wingan Inlet (1.5 hrs) staying at Parks Vic campsite - paddle the Inlet tidal conditions permitting (best at high tide) and exploring the local area
Friday 12th - enjoy the area or travel back to Bemm River (2hrs) - Paddle Bemm River, TBA staying at Bemm River Caravan Park
Saturday 13th - travel home (3.75 hrs to Mirboo North)
