 Visit Alowyn Gardens, 7 acres of landscaped gardens located in the Yarra Valley. The gardens are known for their different distinct styles, as you wander through them enjoy the many view lines from different vantage points.

The gardens have a nursery and Wisteria Cafe & courtyard, where they serve light meals - sandwiches, toasties, pies, sauage rolls and pasties, also a selection of cakes, tarts, muffins and cookies.

Entry tickets: Adults $15.00 Concession $12.50 - seniors card  Group $11.00 (15 or more people) 

The proposal is to meet in the Coal Creek carpark Korumburra, 

PLEASE NOTE: GOOD NEWS/NEWS FLASH! For comfort,safety and convenience the club has booked a bus to take us to Yarra Glenn. 

The bus and driver is being supplied by Harley Bus Lines Korumburra , with room for 48 passengers . The cost is approx $50/head going on the current 30 registrations , however if we can get the 48 to join us , it will be cheaper at around $32. For a stress free day out I urge members to take advantage of this oppurtunity. To help make up the numbers bring your partners or friends to join us for a great day out (maybe we can recruit a few new members)

The itinery is as follows; Meet in the Coal Creek car park ( Please allow plenty of time to get to Coal Creek ,the bus needs to get away on time)  Everyone seated on the bus by Ten Minutes to Eight 8am.

TRAVEL TO ALOWYN GARDENS  8.00 - 10.00am

Time at the gardens 10.00am - 13.15pm  

1.50pm  depart for Yarra Valley Chocolatiers and Ice Creamery 2.00 - 3.00pm (Coffee and ice cream, see the Chocolatier in action)

3.00pm depart arrive back in Korumburra approx. 5pm

Alowyn has advised of lunch package that consists of your entry fee, a grazing basket  with bread,cheeses,sweets and other local delicacies for $38.50.See picture, looks pretty good!.
