Bass Hwy to Corinella/Coronet Bay - Ride (2)
This ride commences South of Grantville opposite the Timber Mill at the Glen Forbes turnoff. Park your vehicles at the car park on the corner of Corinella Rd and the Bass Hwy close to the bus stop.
The route follows a dedicated bike path to Corinella, winding gently through peaceful farmland that offers a relaxing start to the day. From Corinella, the ride continues along the picturesque coastline to Coronent Bay, allowing riders to soak up stunning seaside views and the fresh coastal air. After reaching Coronent Bay, the group returns to Corinella, where a well-earned lunch awaits at the charming Fig and the Bay café. The outing concludes with a leisurely pedal back to the cars, having covered a total of approximately 32 kilometres. This ride promises a blend of tranquil countryside, beautiful coastal scenery, and friendly camaraderie, making for a thoroughly enjoyable cycling experience.
Beware: there is at least one very tight bike/pedestrian gate on the trail.
Wear bike helmuts and safety gear.
