Each year, one of the four larger Gippsland bushwalking clubs takes a turn to arrange a program of combined walks and this year the Combined Clubs event will be hosted by the Strzelecki Bushwalking Club with an excellent range of walks to choose from around Walhalla, Erica and the Baw Baw’s.

Over the weekend of 24th & 25th October there will be an extensive program of eight walks for participants to choose from with each walk highlighting a different part of the Baw Baw / Walhalla / Erica area. There will also be a special Saturday evening event in the Erica Hotel.

Club members intending to participate in this event are strongly encouraged to book their accommodation now as there will be substantial pressure on local venues once registration opens.

Arrangements have been made with the Mountain Rivers Tourist Park in Rawson to hold places exclusively for participants until one month before the event. But with demand likely to exceed availability you are strongly encouraged to make your booking now. As external bookings are blocked for the moment, you need to explain that you are a SBWC member booking for the Combined Clubs event and they will make the necessary arrangements.

There is no cost for registration or to participate in the program.

You will simply be responsible for your own accommodation and meal costs including for the Saturday evening event with our special guest speaker.
