Bryces Gorge & Mt Howitt

Arriving at Bryce's Gorge campground on the afternoon of Sunday 7th December 2025 to set up camp.
Bryce's Gorge is is 65 km past Licola with 42 km of gravel.
Licola is 130 km from Mirboo North.
Depending on participant numbers there maybe the opportunity to carpool.

This can be a base camp at Bryce's Gorge and  combined with a Multi day hike to Mount Howitt and Mount Buggery.
Camping will be at Bryce's Gorge campground which has a toilet and fire pits, you can car camp utilising the car, tent, or mobile home or a caravan/trailer camper.
The walk at Bryce's Gorge is on a 9 km circuit track, taking in two  waterfalls and a cattleman's hut, there should be an abundance of wildflowers. Returning to the campground to spend a second night and then depart for home or enjoy the second part of this adventure with a multi day hike with full backpacks.

You will need to bring sufficient food and water to cater for the duration you wish to stay in the High Country. Along with suitable clothing and footwear for Alpine conditions. Bring walking poles if you use them
